Tamarindo Coffee Roasters is a café and coffee roastery dedicated to showcasing the quality and diversity of 100% Costa Rican specialty coffee. Established in 2017, this locally rooted business focuses on freshly roasting high-quality beans in Tamarindo while building strong relationships with coffee-growing regions across the country. Through a Direct Trade model, Tamarindo Coffee Roasters works closely with sustainable farms and trusted partners to ensure quality, transparency, and consistency in every cup.
The café offers Single Origin coffees sourced from renowned regions such as Tarrazú, the Central Valley, the West Valley, and Guanacaste. In total, Tamarindo Coffee Roasters features six different varieties of specialty coffee, all roasted on site to guarantee freshness. Guests can enjoy expertly brewed cupped coffee beverages at the café or take them to go, making it an ideal stop for both coffee enthusiasts and casual visitors.
A cornerstone of Tamarindo Coffee Roasters’ identity is Finca Vida Azul, a micro-farm located in Costa Rica’s only Blue Zone. Situated between 850 and 1,050 meters above sea level in the mountains of Guanacaste, the farm produces a limited amount of coffee each year and offers unique growing conditions influenced by varied sun exposure and terrain. Since taking over management and production, the Tamarindo Coffee Roasters team has positioned Vida Azul as a key contributor to specialty coffee in the region.
