Sirena Serena is a bed and breakfast, retreat center and group accommodation in Tamarindo, about 400 meters east of Banco Nacional. It is a gated property in a tropical garden, about a 15-minute walk from Tamarindo Beach.

It has six rooms, each with a private bathroom, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, TV, mini-fridge and safe. With the full kitchen and pool area, the property fits up to 19 people. Facilities include a pool with a small water slide, a covered lounge, a deck, hammocks and a yoga area. The property hosts families, groups of friends, bachelor and bachelorette parties, weddings and yoga retreats. Its sister company, Kelly’s Surf Shop, offers discounted tours and surf lessons to guests.

Reviews are consistently positive. Guests praise the space for large groups, the pool, the breakfasts and the helpful host, who assists with tours, restaurants and golf cart rentals. Several guests found it well suited to families with children.
