Morena Handmade Swimwear

Morena is a swimwear brand founded in Tamarindo in 2016. Its shop is in Centro Comercial El Punto (Local 2), in front of NOI Bistro. The brand sells bikini tops and bottoms, one-piece swimsuits, tennis and activewear, linen shirts and beach accessories, and it also sells online.

According to the brand, every piece is designed, cut and sewn in its own workshop in Tamarindo, about 100 metres from the shop. The swimwear fabric is made from recycled plastic bottles, and packaging is recyclable or biodegradable. Morena supports local beach clean-ups run by The Clean Wave. The shop also handles wholesale enquiries.

The store is open every day from 9:00 to 20:00.

Morena is consistently well reviewed. Customers praise the kind and patient staff, the comfortable fit and soft, durable fabric, and the fact that the swimwear is made locally from recycled material. No recurring complaints appear in the reviews.
