Volcano Brewing Company

Volcano Brewing Company is a craft brewery and taproom on Calle Central in Tamarindo, part of the Witch’s Rock Surf Camp complex on the beach. The brand started in 2011 and was one of Costa Rica’s early craft breweries.

The street-side tasting bar has TV screens for international sports and surf films. Guests can order food from the surf camp’s restaurants, including burgers, sushi and Costa Rican dishes, and there is a kids’ menu. The complex has a daily happy hour from 16:00 to 19:00 and live music, mainly at weekends.

Google lists opening hours of 11:00 to 21:00 every day.

Volcano Brewing Company is generally well reviewed. Visitors praise the beer, the food, the friendly service and the beachfront setting. Some reviewers mention being charged for items they did not order, and street vendors approaching tables near the sand.
