El Caribe en Tamarindo

El Caribe en Tamarindo is a food truck in the food truck area 100 meters north of the Pura Vida supermarket in Tamarindo. It serves Caribbean-style Costa Rican food from the Limón region, such as rice and beans with chicken, fried plantains and seafood plates.

It is open every day from 10 am to 9 pm.

Reviews are mixed and mostly negative over the last year. A few guests liked the rice and beans and the chicken, but several found the food too salty, the portions small and the prices high for what is served. Some guests also reported being charged more than expected, including an extra 5% fee for card payments.
