Entre Raíces

Entre Raíces is a restaurant in central Tamarindo, across from Hotel Pasatiempo and diagonal to Banco Nacional. It serves Costa Rican food, including chifrijo, patacones, dishes with chicharrón, ceviche, salads and fish such as mahi mahi with mango sauce. There is indoor and outdoor seating in a garden setting. A review from mid-2026 describes it as a new restaurant.

It is open Monday to Saturday, 12 pm to 9 pm, and closed on Sunday.

Entre Raíces is consistently well reviewed. Guests most often praise the fish dishes, the patacones and the friendly owner and staff, and several say prices are fair for Tamarindo. One recent guest reported a long wait for food and felt the place looked worn.
