Art Gallery Cafe Junior Rodriguez is one of Tamarindo’s most unique creative spaces — part gallery, part cafe, and a full showcase of local artist Junior Rodriguez’s bold, imaginative work. Located in the Pacific Park building in central Tamarindo, the gallery features Junior’s original paintings and framed prints, organized around signature series like “Electrocuted Bird,” “The Missing Cat,” “The Real Moon Landing,” and “Tiger in the Woods.” The work is playful, surreal, and entirely his own.

If you’re looking to take home something original, pieces start around $3,300 for originals, with framed prints available at more accessible prices. Junior also offers art classes and accepts commissions — so whether you’re a serious collector or just want to spend an afternoon learning to paint, there’s something here for you.
