Casa De Arroz

Casa de Arroz is a small building with four studio apartments for rent in central Tamarindo, up the hill from the main intersection. The owners bought and renovated it in 2015 and live in Tamarindo. One of them also manages other vacation rentals in town, which are listed on the same website.

The studios are named Garden 1, Garden 2, Balcony 3 and Balcony 4. Each studio has a bed, a sitting area and a small kitchen. Guests mention air conditioning, a safe, a washing machine and dryer, a private sitting area and a secure entrance. The beach, restaurants, a café and a grocery store are within walking distance. There is no private parking; cars park on the sloped street.

Casa de Arroz is generally well reviewed. Guests praise the central location, the clean studios, good value and the responsive owners, and one guest has returned many times over ten years. Complaints mention the dark, unpaved access street, trash in the alley from nearby businesses and, in one older review, a sewage smell.
